Diagnostic Sleep Testing
Adequate sleep is essential to good health. If you have trouble falling or remaining asleep, your doctor may suggest a sleep study. Diagnostic Clinic of Longview provides sleep studies to diagnose and treat sleep difficulties – to help you get a good night's rest!
DCOL provides sleep studies through The Institute for Sleep Disorders, a diagnostic sleep testing facility accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. This voluntary certification is given to those facilities that demonstrate a commitment to quality diagnostic services and patient care. Our center uses advanced technology for testing, scoring and treatment for a wide range of sleep disorders, such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), Central Sleep Apnea (CSA), Insomnia, REM Behavior disorders and Periodic Limb Movement (PLM).
The Institute for Sleep Disorders offers such testing as:
- Standard polysomnography
- Home sleep testing
- Physician consultation
- Treatment consultation
- Overnight pulse oximentry
Your diagnostic team includes board certified sleep specialists, as well as board registered sleep technicians who provide comprehensive evaluation of sleep disorders.
A sleep test must be ordered by your physician: a family physician, neurologist, psychiatrist, cardiologist, internist, dentist or pulmonary specialist.
Your sleep study will be conducted in a private, comfortable environment designed to feel like your bedroom at home. Testing rooms are spacious and comfortable, and resemble hotel rooms. Each room is independently monitored, with its own testing equipment, climate control, lighting and communication technology.
The Institute for Sleep Disorders Center is located at 709 Hollybrook Dr. / Suite 4501 (4th floor)/ Longview, TX 75605. Testing is performed five nights a week (Monday – Friday). Our office is available for patient consultation appointments on Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Fridays, 8a.m. – 12 p.m. We are glad to answer your questions.
