Biography:
Gene Hardin, M.D., pathologist, was born in Brownwood, Texas and grew up in Longview. He has a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and a master’s degree in Pathology from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After working for several years as a medical technologist, Dr. Hardin returned to school and obtained his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. His advanced training includes a four-year residency in Pathology at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX. He is board-certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology. Dr. Hardin practiced in Temple, TX, at King’s Daughters Hospital and Clinic for 23 years before coming to Longview where he has practiced since 2010.
